SODA National, in partnership with Hearts for Russ and Second Chance Fundraising, is thrilled to offer two scholarship programs to incoming and current college and graduate students for the 2024-2025 school year who are passionate about organ, eye, and tissue donation advocacy.

2024 Scholarship Offerings
HBCU Organ, Eye, and Tissue Donation Advocacy Scholarship
With Hearts for Russ, we are awarding five $1,000 scholarships to HBCU students who are passionate about organ, eye, and tissue donation and interested in leading peer-to-peer advocacy efforts.
Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Historically Black College or University for the 2024-2025 school year.
Student Advocacy Scholarship
With Second Chance Fundraising, we are awarding five $1,000 scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students who are passionate about organ, eye, and tissue donation and interested in leading peer-to-peer advocacy efforts.
Applicants must be enrolled in an an accredited college or university for the 2024-2025 school year.
Scholarship Requirements
In addition to the scholarship-specific requirements above, applicants must:

Have not previously been awarded a scholarship from SODA National.

Organize an organ, eye, and tissue donation advocacy event by the end of the Fall 2024 semester.

Attend a virtual networking session in July of 2024 to connect with their fellow scholarship recipients and a virtual awards ceremony in January of 2025 to share the impact of their advocacy event.
